Eiffage is one of Europe’s leading operators in construction and concessions.
Founded in 1993 from the merger of Fougerolles (1844) and SAE (1924), Eiffage has turned into an experienced general contractor capable of delivering the most complex and ambitious projects under a wide range of procurement routes (Bid & Build, Design & Build, ECI, IPD, EPC, P3, etc.). Today, it is one of Europe’s leading operators in construction and concessions.
Eiffage deploys its expertise through four branches, separated into nine business lines: Construction, Real Estate, Urban Development, Roads, Civil Engineering, Structural Steel, Rail, Energy Systems and Concessions.
Eiffage in the UK and Ireland includes Eiffage Génie Civil UK, Eiffage Métal, Herbosch-Kiere, Smulders and Clemessy. It has a team of 350 employees and generated £350 million in 2021.
Eiffage Génie Civil UK is working as part of the civil engineering joint venture EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall), which is constructing 80 km of High Speed Two (HS2), a new high speed railway that will form the backbone of Britain's transport network.

Environment and sustainability
With the consequences of climate change becoming an increasingly visible risk to our health and the environment, Eiffage has placed sustainability at the heart of its strategy, harnessing its power of innovation to create more sustainable construction methods and deliver low-carbon cities and infrastructures. Eiffage teams of engineers are fostering, creating and developing new construction methods, types of infrastructure, energy sources and management systems as well as forms of mobility.

All our employees are trained for 100% safety
Maintaining physical and moral integrity, protecting the health and guaranteeing the safety of our employees and third parties are core obligations for the Group, not only as an ethical requirement but also to ensure performance.
Since these notions have been part of Eiffage’s DNA for a long time, all our staff have received safety training, especially through the SKC (Safety Knowledge Control) programme set up by the company. Our certified training courses deliver a non-transferrable passport on completion, specifying the employee's safety clearance level. These preliminary training courses have been extended to each site.
