EDI

EDI: a principle that is part of our DNA

Eiffage Génie Civil UK believes in and is committed to encouraging and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) amongst our workforce and at all levels of business function. We are committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination in all forms, and to fostering and nurturing a culture that respects and celebrates diversity.

We expect a high standard from our people in all areas and this of course includes all elements of EDI. Our people apply and respect our EDI policy in all aspects of their work to create and develop an atmosphere that is inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone in the Eiffage family, as well as those who interact with us.

A human strategy above all

To support the realisation of our EDI strategy, we have designed an impressive induction programme to welcome new starters and ensure our commitment to EDI is embedded from the first exposure to the Eiffage family. We continue personal development on EDI subjects for all our employees throughout their careers. We have put in place an inclusive recruitment, selection, and promotion policy. We have committed to adapting our employees’ working conditions to ensure, to the best of our ability, no intentional or unintentional barriers exist or are created that could prevent or frustrate equal access to working opportunities or to the access of our buildings, sites, or services.

To monitor compliance with our EDI policy, regular audits and surveys will be conducted to provide us access to pivotal feedback from our workforce and ensure we are practicing the exemplary standards we expect and are so proud of. We also commit to maintaining an understanding of our workforce demographics through effective diversity monitoring. This will allow us to focus resources where they are most needed and to better understand the individual needs of our people.
